Justice League

The Justice League of America is the Crisis Cluster's most powerful and premier superhero team, a strike force comprised of the world's mightiest heroes. They act as stalwart protectors of sentient life; Earth's first line of defense against terrestrial, extra-terrestrial, inter-dimensional and supernatural threats.

History[]

At the first meeting between Batman and Hal Jordan, with the two encountering each other during a battle against a Parademon in Gotham City. After realizing the creature is extraterrestrial in origin, the two heroes head to Metropolis to seek out Superman only to be attacked by him. Later, after a brief fight in which the Flash arrives and Batman convinces Superman they are on the same side, they move to an abandoned building to work on analyzing a mysterious alien box, when it suddenly activates and more Parademons arrive. While fighting the Parademons, Aquaman and Wonder Woman appear and join forces with the other heroes.The mysterious box leads to Darkseid's arrival on Earth, and the heroes come together, along with the newcomer Cyborg, to defeat him. The public becomes enamored with the heroes, and a writer dubs the group the 'Justice League', following the Flash's suggestion of 'Super Seven'.

The initial roster of the team consists of Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern (Hal Jordan; who has since left the team), Aquaman, the Flash (Barry Allen), and Cyborg, while the Atom (Rhonda Pineda), Firestorm (Ronnie Raymond), and Element Woman join as additional members.

The Justice League, Justice League of America and Justice League Dark clash in the "Trinity War" storyline; Atom is later revealed to be from a parallel universe; she is in fact a mole on both teams, and a member of the evil Crime Syndicate of Earth-Three. The Syndicate roundly defeats the assembled Leagues, triggering the Forever Evil crossover event. In the aftermath of Forever Evil, following their crucial and public role in defeating the Crime Syndicate, Lex Luthor and Captain Cold join the Justice League.

Throne of Atlantis[]

When a US Navy missile drill goes wrong for unknown reasons, sending multiple missiles into the ocean, striking Atlantis, their king Ocean Master takes it as a declaration of war, and initiates ocean to surface war tactics that both he and his brother, Aquaman wrote up years ago. Atlantis sends giant tidal waves through many costal cities including Gotham City, Metropolis and Boston, planning to invade and eventually sink the city hit the hardest. When Ocean Master surfaces in Boston, Aquaman and the Justice League foil his attack on the surface world.

Forever Evil[]

the Crime Syndicate invaded Earth Prime at the conclusion of the Trinity War, and took over the world, while convincing it that the Justice Leagues were dead. The Crime Syndicate attempted to unite all the villains of the world, swearing they'll hunt down any remaining heroes, while exposing Dick Grayson's identity of Nightwing to the world. While most villains joined the Syndicate, others such as Lex Luthor attempted to fight back, forming the Injustice League.

The Watchtower[]

The Justice League's secret base of operations is the Watchtower, a base equipped with the most advanced technology throughout the universe. It contains a training grid, med-lab, workshops, vast interstellar telecommunications/sensor arrays network, and a host of other equipment to aid in the Leagues's protection of the planet. Access to the Watchtower is available in the Hall of Justice via a archway-teleportation system.
